Wedding Ceremony

Your ceremony can take place in the wood-panelled Drawing Room beneath the marriage plaque which dates back to 1621, or if the weather is kind you can be married on the lawn under the 260 year old Cedar known locally as "The Loving Tree”.

In Scotland, if you wish to hold the ceremony away from a registry office or church, you can have the choice of a religous or non-religous ceremony. We would be happy to put you in touch with Ministers of some local churches and we can book the services of our local Registrar. Music may have an important part to play in your ceremony and we would be happy to advise on a piper, organist, Gaelic singer, clarsach (harp) player or string quartet; alternatively we can play any favourite CDs you bring along.

For your comfort we would advise that the maximum numbers that can be seated during the ceremony in the House would be 60 with standing room for the additional guests. The cost of staging a ceremony at Bunchrew House is shown on the tariff sheet.
