Wedding Terms & Conditions
Once you have made a provisional booking, we will hold this for 14 days giving you time to check availability of other services. All weddings must be covered by event insurance at Bunchrew House. Bookings are confirmed at Bunchrew House upon receipt of a signed copy of our terms and conditions of business, a copy of the insurance cover together with a £1000 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit.
It is useful to have a contract to avoid any misunderstanding and to protect the interests of all parties. Below is a summary of the important terms and conditions which will apply.
The Number of Guests Attending
Minimum numbers are required for the wedding breakfast during certain months
and on certain days of the week: see the Tariff page.
Evening Buffet
The minimum number you require to cater for an evening buffet is 75% of
the total number of guests attending an evening reception regardless
of the time of year.
Accommodation
We require you to book all 16 bedrooms on the night of the wedding at the
specially discounted rate.
Only in a few circumstances when for example a wedding is for a small
number of guests, there is no evening event and you accept that other
guests would be around the hotel, would this condition not apply.
Payment of Account
After payment of the initial deposit of £1000, a further deposit of £2000 is required six months prior to the Wedding Day. Two weeks before the wedding we require your final numbers upon which the final account will be based and 75% of the balance will then be due for payment. The remaining balance is to be settled the day
after the wedding. Smaller weddings will attract a different payment plan, please ask us for details.
